Fieldnote No. 7 - Ruby

Vessel type: Harbour Tug. Known waters: Sechelt Inlet. 

Ruby was first spotted by a young coastal observer and noted in her field notebook aged 7. Reliable in fog, cheerful in rain. Travels with a gull named Bob, whose navigational input is unreliable but whose company is not. Has never once been late.

She is hand stencilled on a crisp white 100 percent cotton baby bodysuit.
